I have been a Reference/Instruction Librarian and Assistant Professor at the University of Idaho Library since June of 2006. I earned my Master of Science in Library Science (MSLS) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in December of 2005. I spent a while as an Association of Research Libraries (ARL) Academy Fellow at the University of Washington.

So what do I do? I am the Social Sciences Bibliographer, meaning that I am in charge of building and maintaining that collection. I teach library instruction sessions. I research issues in information science and publish what I find. I build webpages. I work at the reference desk. I serve on administrative committees. And so on and so forth. It's great work if you can get it.

Here is my homepage for work. It's poorly designed (just uses the university template), but it has a few things that may be of interest to those with an interest in what a librarian does.
